What is Word Robot?
Word Robot is a free collection of primary English practice activities for KS1 and KS2 — covering common exception words, spellings, adverbs, word search and more.
Which year groups are covered?
Years 1 to 6. Common exception words are organised by year group so children can practise the right list for their stage.
Do I need an account?
No. All activities are free to use without an account. You can sign up to the newsletter at the bottom of any page for updates.
How do I practise spellings?
Open the Spellings page from the sidebar. Words are read aloud — type what you hear and we'll check your answer.
How does Word Search work?
Drag across the grid to highlight a word from the list. Found words are crossed off. Use ‘New puzzle’ for a fresh grid.
It's not working on my device — what can I do?
Try refreshing the page. If the issue continues, please send us a note from the Feedback page so we can fix it.
